2019-2020 School Year Information

We will meet on Tuesday mornings promptly @ 9:00a.m in the Chapel of St. Luke’s the Evangelist Catholic Church in Houston, TX.

Our typical schedule includes:

  • Prayer, Chorus, and Pledge
  • Academic classroom time.  Scholars learn and review memory work, enjoy creative art lessons, and hands on science.
  • At 12:15 we meet in the social hall for lunch.
  • Afternoon is optional.  Parents can enjoy social time while young children play on the playground until 2:00p.m.

Each family is responsible for purchasing a Tour Guide, History Cards, and Memory Work CD’s from the Catholic Schoolhouse Store.    After registration, you may be available to receive a discount and save on S&H via a bulk order coordinated by the chapter director.

Lastly, we are currently exploring supplemental and optional afternoon programs for our older scholars. Information will be available on these optional classes later this summer. Past years have included courses in Institute for Excellence in Writing (IEW), Art Lessons, Sewing Lessons, etc. While not required by Catholic Schoolhouse, these programs are instrumental in providing for the needs of some families to accomplish a well-rounded education for their middle and high school students.

Please do not hesitate to contact us with questions @ houstontx@catholicschoolhouse.com.
